Jean’s Kitchen

Jean holds a Certificate of Hygiene for her kitchen where she takes great pride in preparing traditional home cooked food using fresh local produce wherever possible. Meals are of a high standard and of generous proportions.

All food is freshly prepared by Jean and orders for Dinner are taken at Breakfast.

Sample Breakfast Menu (Served at 9 am):

Starter: Chilled Fruit Juice, Cornflakes, Weetabix or Alpen
Main: Full English Breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, baked beans & fried bread
To Follow: Toast & Preserves, Tea & Coffee

Sample Vegetarian Menu:

Main: Choice of Vegetable Lasagne; Broccoli & Cream Cheese Bake; Tagliatelle Nicoise; Spinach & Ricotta Cheese Cannelloni; Vegetable Pasta Bake or Egg Mayonnaise. All served with potatoes & vegetables from the day’s menu or salad.
To Follow: Selection from the Sweet Trolley or Cheese Board with Coffee

Sample Dinner Menu (Served at 7 pm):

Starter: Soup of the Day or Prawn Cocktail
Main: Braised Steak or Chicken in a cream sauce with potatoes & a selection of vegetables.
To follow: Selection from the Sweet Trolley or Cheese Board Board with Coffee.

Sample Children’s Menu:

Starter: Chilled Fruit Juice
Main: Fish Fingers, Sausages, Beef Burgers, Chicken Nuggets or Pizza. All served with a selection of vegetables or chips and beans.
To Follow: Strawberry or Vanilla Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce.
