Welcome to The Poplars for Accommodation in North Devon

A small family-run hotel two minutes away from the sea offering generous guest accommodation in North Devon. The Poplars first opened as a hotel in 1929 and has been totally refurbished by the present resident proprietors, Jean and Cliff Jefferies.

The Poplars is a very spacious property in an exceptional setting, overlooking the bay in Combe Martin and offers exceptional accommodation in North Devon. The accommodation offers: a large dining room; a spacious and well equipped lounge and bar; a TV and Video lounge; a games room with a pool table, other games and books; and has eleven well equipped bedrooms. In the large gardens there is a good sized swimming pool and adjacent sun terrace overlooking Combe Martin Bay, North Devon.

The eleven bedrooms are made up of eight which are fully en-suite, the other three having a private shower and wash hand basins. All bedrooms have generous Courtesy Trays with tea/coffee making facilities; shaver points; colour remote controlled TVs. Some bedrooms have private balconies and sea views.

The best place to be in the evening is in the bar with Cliff, having a quiet drink with friends and family, and being entertained in a way that is unique to the Poplars, and hopefully you will come back time and time again.
